For over 25 years, I have been engaged in creating new businesses through strategic alliances, including upstream resource development. After working at Accenture and GCA, I joined JERA, where I led the formation of a corporate venture capital (CVC) fund and the merger and acquisition of a European wind power company that became the parent company of JERA NEX. I aim to establish a management structure that integrates strategy, culture, and execution capabilities, and joined Cross in 2025. My motivation is a sense of curiosity to “see what lies beyond that hill.”

Yuta Fujimura

Graduated from Faculty of literature at Kyoto University in 2011 and the London School of Economics (Master of economics, 2019). After working for exporting high-speed rail systems on the overseas and human resources at Central Japan Railway company, joined A.T. Kearney. As a manager in the energy practice, provides support for strategy formulation, medium- to long-term market environment forecasting, and business due diligence to power generation companies, electric retailers, general trading companies, and energy funds.

Graduated from the University of Tokyo (Ph.D., 2023 valedictorian). After working on technology strategy in the infrastructure industry at McKinsey and company, co-founded JDSC in 2018. Achieved listing in 2021 as Director and CDSO in 2021. Founded Across Digital in 2023, serving as representative director and CEO. Special researcher at the University of Tokyo.

Masako Maruyama

Graduated from Faculty of Science and Technology at Keio University. Since 1994, at Tokyo Electric Power Company, gained experience in equipment maintenance at thermal power plants, engineering in the engineering department at the headquarters, and human resources development as manager. Then, transferred to JERA Co., Inc. In 2020, served as the General Manager of Diversity & Inclusion Promotion and　held a concurrent position as a Non-executive director at JERA miraiful.

Kengo Ichikura

Graduated from at Keio University (Master of Science and Technology, 2006). Engaged in domestic and international thermal power plant projects at Tokyo Electric Power Company. Since 2018, after building and executing digital strategies at JERA Co., Ltd., promoted digital power plant projects as the head of the DX department. Since 2023, leading the launch of new businesses as a Senior Supervisor in Solutions Sales Division.

Hiroyuki Nakai

Graduated from Nagoya University Graduate School of Mechanical Engineering. Joined Chubu Electric Power Co., Inc. in 1993. Has extensive knowledge in the thermal power business, and took charge of promoting alliances as the secretariat from the Chubu Electric side during the establishment of JERA. Since 2023, has been leading the balance of revenue improvement and ensuring safe and stable operations as the General Manager of O&M and Engineering Strategy at JERA, and will assume the position of Senior Executive Officer in April 2025.
