Retail Electricity Providers refer to businesses registered as retail electricity providers by the Minister of Economy, Trade, and Industry, who do not fall under the grounds for refusal of registration specified in Article 2-5, Paragraph 1 of the Electricity Business Act (Act No. 170 of 1964), and have been registered as retail electricity providers by the Minister (including businesses deemed to have been registered as retail electricity providers pursuant to the transitional provisions of the Act amending some of the Electricity Business Act, etc. (Act No. 72 of 2014)).
