Koshidaka Co., Ltd. ("Koshidaka") and JERA Cross Co., Inc., a subsidiary of JERA Co., Inc.,(“JERA Cross”) have introduced an Off-Site PPA ("Agreement") to "Karaoke Manekineko", a karaoke store operated by Koshidaka, and JERA Cross has started supplying electricity from solar power generated by JERA and others to 22 stores in the Tohoku area from April 1, 2025.
Koshidaka Group, which provides entertainment services mainly in the karaoke and hot spring businesses, is considering introducing solar power generation systems in new buildings and aims to procure more than 30% of the electricity used by the company from additional renewable energy1 by fiscal year 2030.
JERA Cross, which is leading the way in zero CO2 emissions in the energy sector, will provide comprehensive support from designing future visions and formulating strategies for customers' GX, to developing and supplying the renewable energy needed to decarbonize electricity. It will also work to solve customers' problems, transform their businesses, and reduce CO2 emissions, such as by providing a stable supply of 24/7 carbon-free electricity 2 .
Under this agreement, Koshidaka is expected to use approximately 670,000 kWh of solar power annually, which is expected to reduce Koshidaka's CO2 emissions by approximately 320 t-CO2*3 per year.
The two companies will contribute to the realization of a carbon-free society through efforts to achieve 100% renewable energy at Koshidaka's stores, including Karaoke Manekineko stores in each region.

※1 “Additional renewable energy” means that the procurement method chosen by a company promotes investment in renewable energy through the construction of new renewable energy power generation facilities, thereby contributing to the reduction of CO2 emissions.
※2 "24/7 Carbon-Free Electricity" refers to electricity that remains carbon-free 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. In accordance with the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry's (METI) Guidelines on Retail Electricity Sales, this means that 100% of the electricity demand is met by zero-emission power sources, such as renewable energy generation facilities and hydrogen power generation facilities, and that the environmental value of non-fossil certificates is included in the supply. However, this does not imply that no CO₂ emissions occur throughout the entire lifecycle, including fuel production and transportation.
※3 The estimated reductions are estimates at present.
