We are pleased to announce that JERA Ventures, the corporate venture capital arm of the JERA Group, has formed a strategic partnership with and invested in Granular Energy, a software provider specializing in clean energy management solutions.

To date, JERA Cross has been advancing initiatives aimed at the societal implementation of tracking and certifying 24/7 carbon-free energy. Through our collaboration with Granular Energy, we aim to further enhance these efforts by offering "real-time visualization of customer electricity," driving the market adoption and expansion of our 24/7 carbon-free energy offerings, and contributing to the realization of a truly carbon-free society.

In accordance with the Ministry of Economy "Guidelines for Retail Sales of Electricity,",this refers to supplying 100% of the electricity demand with CO2 zero-emission sources (such as renewable energy generation facilities and hydrogen power generation facilities) and providing environmental value through the use of non-fossil certificates. This does not imply that CO2 emissions are zero across the entire lifecycle, including fuel production and transportation.
